Vilma Chang
Chang immigrated from Guatemala to Massachusetts and then Hartford, Connecticut. Her life in Hartford and her work as a translator has underscored the importance of education and especially bilingual education. Her work for the Church has also acted as a guiding force in her life, and she has high hopes for Hartford as a diverse city with supportive communities and potential for growth.
